The main differences I feel are down to the software. The Sony just works much better it's more user friendly and it has high-resolution of 7.2 megapixels. The Canon A95 seems to be slower with focusing and is generally awkward to use compared to the Sony P200. However it is really a choice between the extra pixels and the software.
